The Handsome Family

I made this poster this week for the Handsome Family. The flowers are Cherokee roses, the state flower of Georgia.

Knees-up

A poster I did for the brilliant Hipbone Slim and the Kneetremblers, and their alto-egos the Kneejerk Reactions - it's apparently going to be used on the cover of their split single "Battle of the Bands" on Alopecia Records soon...

Tornado & Briton

Tornado Smith was a brilliant showman, a wall of death rider whose name still lives on. Briton was his pet lioness who would ride the wall with him. This painting is on the glass of a reclaimed cellar window, in enamel, gold leaf and palladium leaf.

Animals on bikes...

For some reason I often get asked to draw animals riding motorbikes...

Here's a raven riding an Indian Sport Scout for Steve at Strathbran Speedshop...
The raven swapped his ride for a Harley Shovelhead for Carl's tattoo...

Then there's the hare on an Indian Scout which I did for Dirty Bobbers...

One of my first commissions when I was about fifteen was a Weimaraner dog driving a Morgan...

But my favourite one at the moment is the drawing I did this week of photographer Gary Margerum's dog Ted riding his Triumph. Ted obviously has daredevil tendencies if this is anything to go by...

Made in Britain

I did this poster for Sill Hill Chop Shop to advertise his wares at the Custom Show at the Alexandra Palace... inspired by wartime posters and matchboxes
